How did AmeriCredit grow to be the world’s largest and most successful independent middle-market auto finance company? Part of their success may be due to the company’s remarkable culture, which centers on four distinct principles: integrity, investment, information and innovation — also know as i4. When the company wanted help designing a guide to reinforce the importance of i4 to its employees in a meaningful and inspiring way, they looked to PartnerComm.
The title, “i can Believe: A Guide to Living i4,” follows AmeriCredit’s strong internal brand — “i can.” To emphasize that the most successful companies dare to be different, the Guide featured the poem “The Road Not Taken,” by Robert Frost.
Layered nature scene photographs and vellum overlays interacted with the poem’s words to create an ethereal mood. In addition, quotes submitted by AmeriCredit team members added a “real-life” flavor.
After the piece was distributed at internal staff meetings, feedback indicated that the Guide effectively captured the spirit of AmeriCredit. The Guide was also incorporated into orientation packages to help new associates understand the unique company's mission statement.
