PartnerComm, Inc., a national employee communication agency, recently won two Gold Quill Awards of Merit from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Gold Quills recognize outstanding work in the international communications field and are a hallmark of excellence in business communication.
PartnerComm’s Hope Fund campaign for HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), located in Nashville, TN, won an Award of Merit for Employee/Member Communication. The campaign introduced a new employee-run, employee-supported relief fund that offers aid in times of disasters, illness/injury or other special situations. To promote the Hope Fund and generate contributions, PartnerComm created a cascading campaign with the brand “From the Heart.” Materials including brochures, posters, donation cards and a Web site were infused with a warm, emotional tone through layered collages, subtle heart elements and powerful testimonials from employees helped by the relief fund.
The “My Health, Enjoy!” enrollment campaign developed for Alcon Inc. in Fort Worth, TX won an Award of Merit for Benefits Communication. “My Health, Enjoy!” introduced Alcon employees to an innovative, new health plan that integrated health and wellness and encouraged employees to take responsibility for their personal health. To grab employees’ attention, build awareness of new plan features, gain acceptance of the changes and motivate employees to take action, PartnerComm developed a comprehensive strategy that used both electronic and print media. The campaign kicked off with a confetti-sprinkled invitation to enjoy good health and a new plan worth celebrating.
