PartnerComm, Inc. recently won two Gold Quill Awards of Merit and Excellence from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
For the second year in a row, PartnerComm’s Hope Fund campaign for HCA (Hospital Corporation of America), located in Nashville, Tenn., won an Award of Merit for Employee/Member Communication. HCA’s Hope Fund — an employee-supported relief fund — was introduced in 2005 and continued to thrive throughout 2006, thanks to the increasing awareness and promotion of the fund’s purpose and mission. The campaign employed powerful testimonials to solicit donations and increase awareness of the needs that were still so prevalent among HCA employees.
The “All About a Healthier U” campaign developed for Brinker International, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas, won an Award of Excellence for Employee/Member Communication. The wellness campaign encouraged employees to make lifestyle changes (i.e., use the All About a Healthier U Web site, take the online health assessment, participate in the on-site health screenings) to improve their health and, in the process, save money on health care expenses. Bright colors, fun illustrations and an emphasis on the letter “U” were all consistent elements of design that encouraged employees to take responsibility for their personal health
